Our children, Our future
Research shows that childhood is the stage of life where humans are able to learn and develop skills, in an easier and better way than any other time.
The first years of a child's life is crucial for their adequate development; experiences gained during the first 7 years of their lives, determine and accompany the person through their entire life!
For an adequate stimulation, the child needs to absorb positive behaviors and teachings that encourage learning skills to assist their development during school years and in the future, toward their professional life. Organizations as UNICEF have emphasized the importance of exposing children to such environments.
Integrated Early Childhood Centers (CIPI) consist of daycare centers that have been introduced by the state of Quintana Roo, in order to give children the opportunity to get in an appropriate environment for their stimulation.
The private sector has not been left out of this work. Mrs. Dolores Lopez Lira and Mr. Jose Luis Martinez Alday, owners and founding presidents of Lomas Travel Group, a leading company in the tourism industry in Cancun and Riviera Maya, invested in Playa del Carmen, for the entire construction of a CIPI, which will soon inaugurate its premises. This CIPI will have the capacity of serving for 436 children.
Mr. Jose Luis Martinez, President of Lomas Travel Group, emphasized that the corporation feels very proud to contribute toward the development of Playa del Carmen's society, since the construction of this CIPI will benefit working mothers, who will now have a reliable center where their children can grow up in.
